Lord of Loxley Wins in Vierzon

Lord of loxley won his first show with new rider Brett Parbery at the CDI 3* event in Vierzon, France. After a successful campaign the week before in Pompadour, France, Brett and Lord of Loxley impressed the large crowd in Vierzon with a beautiful Kur, based on music from the film "The Holiday".

The Kur was lent to Brett from his good friend Hans Peter Minderhoud, who usually uses this Kur for his horse Johnson.

"It is beautiful music, I just love riding to it...", said Brett of the Kur.

Lord of Loxley also placed 2nd in the Prix St George at Vierzon with 69.21%.

"It has been a great two weeks for us. We have used these shows to get a feel for how Lord of Loxley will be at shows when we take him to the big tour. He has proven to be very consistant in the competition arena, easy to stable, handle and travel. I have been able to play with all of the Grand Prix work whilst I have been away and it all feels like he is understanding it all better. Now we will go to Hickstead again in the small tour and then set our sights on our Grand Prix debut, sometime later in the year. He is a fantastic horse and I am very lucky to be associated with him. Thankyou to Clyde Wunderwald, my australian owner, to Edward Gal and Nicole Werner for keeping his education going for me and to Hans Peter for kindly loaning me his Kur."
